It’s unbelievably annoying reading reviews created by people who get their entire post from a Sputnik Sound off. It’s obvious that this review has been taken from Sputnik users ILJAJLM and Kit Brown. Not only were the sound offs posted on July 5th and July 10th, while this review was posted today, July 11th, but one can clearly see “ihopetogodyou-weep” used ILJAJLM and Kit Brown’s views on the Contortionist’s new album, Intrinsic. Taking lines such as “In dropping a lot of their core influences, The Contortionist have crafted an enticing heap of progressive goodness.” and slightly changing it to “In dropping nearly all of their “core” influences, The Contortionist have taken all of the moody and atmospherical ambience…” one can come to the conclusion that being “inside [this man’s] head” is not all it’s cracked up to be.
